Profane relates to disrespect.

Disrespect is to insult.

Insult is to abuse.

Abuse is to treat negatively.

Profanity is a weapon of negation. Negation is a weapon of mass destruction. There is no room for peace when profanity is used (abrasively).

• Note that this is when profanity is used abrasively, i.e., negatively. Profanity can also be used as a joking sort of insult, which if acceptable to those present is not destructive.

Muhammad said, “… speak good or remain silent.”

To negate is to nullify, to make ineffective, to neutralize, to cancel.

• The Last Resort. Negation is a powerful weapon. It obliterates whatever is in it’s path. Sometimes, this is necessary, as a last resort.
• Conflict is Negation. If we want lives without conflict, a world without conflict, we must do our best to rid ourselves of negation.
• Affirmation is Our Way. Affirmation is to speak what is good. Establishing what is good is a powerful deterrance to what is harmful. We have even affirmed negation as a last resort above. There is a way for affirmation in all things and it is the wisest way.
